As someone who HEAVILY uses PvE characters for PvP I can't even being to count the times how often I missed that function.

24 refunds isn't even enough to remove all your skill points most of the time... So glad they nerfed it. That was the single most greatest day in GW history.

Both the NPCs in every town and PVP area, and the ability to change at the Hero screen are excellent ideas. It would be the biggest improvement to GW since removing skill refund points

I think that this is a good idea (changing alts from the hero box) since if your team wants you to respec as another secondary, you'll tell them to put you in the friends list and then go to the desert anyways. Probably save on bandwidth too.

we're going to need this for Factions, methinks. I'm constantly swapping secondaries based on what my group needs.

WTH??? All my characters are PvE and all of them have their tweeks when I RP. My monk is perky, my warrior is mean and slightly sexist, my necro is sadistic, and me mesmer...

I think that PvE characters have enough flexibility to change secondary professions, as a rol playing character going to a place in the desert to change secondary is a part of the PvE character story.

What I would like to see is a much more easier way to make changes for PvP characters. I mean I would like that PvP had some place ingame for free access:

i) to profession change
ii) to armor change
iii) to runes change
iv) to weapons change

I would suggest, for example, some new NPC at the Great Temple of Balthazar for changing profession and some other in the arenas and Heroes' Ascent for armor, runes and weapons. Having to pass through all those creation screens just because wishing to make a change is too much. It discourages me to play PvP with a PvP character;

so lazy I feel.

A problem might be how to avoid that items got by a PvP only character were given to a PvE character, for this it should not be possible either to trade or to recycle PvP items.

While I do agree that there should be an NPC for this at the outposts at Battle Islands (for both PvE and PvP chars of course), I don't think every outpost would be such a good idea. It would ruin the story even more. Right now, you atleast get the feeling the NPCs doing it for you in the desert is part of the profession changing. If they make that possible from every outpost, those quests would just be "another sidequest". Nothing special about them.

Imagine you walk up to one of the profession changing guys in Maguuma stade, and he says that you have to go kill some bosses in the desert first.

for Battle Islands though.

/signed. As a slow-PC user it is death to change profession. When I go to GH now I always go there via [G]uild from Senji's. This means it's easy to leave guild hall and arrive at Senji's instantly, but if I want to do any PvE in Tyria, I just cba to do it anymore for all the map travel.

If this isn't released in NF, I may have to shoot myself in the head. Twice.

There is a profession changer in the Temple of Balthazaar, it's not hard to get to :?

I say Anet should make your silly little NPC, so you don't have to click three times. I say make it, and make it cost 1 million gold.
